GolfDi Rules
To begin the game, toss a tee to determine the order in which players will tee off on the first hole. Rotate through this exact order of teeing off for the duration of the round. The player whose turn it is to go first will roll the GolfDi for that hole. Points are kept as dots on the scorecard, and are scored by winning the game for the hole, saving a par from a bunker (1 point), getting a birdie (1 point), or getting an eagle (2 points). Final score or a putt-off can be used as a tiebreaker.
FIRST ON GREEN
The first player to get their ball onto the green wins the point. Shoot in order of farthest from the pin first. In the event of multiple players hitting from a drop zone, toss a tee to determine who shoots first.
BEST DRIVE
The player who is closest to the pin after 1 shot wins the point. The dealer will call out whether the winning shot needs to be in the fairway or just in bounds.
FIRST IN HOLE
This competition focuses on putting unless a player has holed-out from off the green. Shooting in order of farthest from the hole first, the first player to make their putt wins the point. Must 2-putt or better to win. A hole-out from off the green automatically wins the point.
CLOSEST TO PIN
The player closest to the pin while hitting the green in regulation wins the point. If no player hits the green in regulation, the competition becomes the player closest to the pin once everyone is on the green. In the event of a player reaching the green in 2 shots on a par 5, their position after their third shot is the one that counts.
LONE WOLF
The dealer versus the field. If the dealer ties for best score on the hole, they win a point. If they win the hole outright, they win a point for each player they beat. If anyone besides the dealer wins, everyone except the dealer gets a point. Dealer may opt to take a 1 stroke advantage on the hole and forfeit the opportunity to win multiple points.
PICK TWO
Each player must declare which 2 clubs they are going to play the hole with (besides a putter) before teeing off and may not use any other clubs. Re-roll if tossed on a par 3.
Alternately The dealer can pick 2 shots on the hole to be re-hit. They may take 1 mulligan and give out 1 reverse-mulligan, or give both out as reverse-mulligans, but both cannot be used on the same player. For both versions, the point is awarded to the player with the lowest score. No points are awarded for a tie.
PICK A PARTNER
The dealer will pick a partner for the hole in a best ball format (everyone plays their own ball). The partner must be declared before the following player tees off (dealer cannot go back and pick the second person that hit after the 3rd player tees off). If the dealer doesn’t declare the 2nd or 3rd player, they will by default be partnered with the 4th. Low score wins a point for themselves and their teammate. Combined team score is the tiebreaker. If playing as a threesome, the solo can win 2 points if they win the hole.
DEALER'S CHOICE
